Deal rationale
Medigate News reported Macquarie Korea bought 60% of S&I Corporation's building-management business and the 'S&I Corporation' trademark from LG in February 2022; the company said it would keep serving LG affiliates while pursuing independent growth. Macquarie's own rationale was not reported. Dealsite (2025) put Macquarie's equity at about KRW 200bn, with KRW 134bn recovered early via dividends and a recap.
